What Perciva is
Perciva is a B2B SaaS tool that monitors how AI systems (such as ChatGPT and Gemini) describe your company or brand in response to buyer-intent prompts. This policy explains what data we collect and how we use it.
Data we collect
- Account information — email address and password (or Google OAuth profile) when you create an account.
- Project inputs — brand name, domain, category, competitor names, and prompt-pack selections you provide when setting up a monitoring project.
- Snapshot inputs — brand name, domain, and category submitted through our free public snapshot flow, along with the email address where you ask us to deliver the report.
- Scan results — AI-engine responses and the analysis we derive from them (citations, risk flags, recommendations).
- Billing information — payment and subscription data is collected and processed by Stripe. We do not store your credit card number.
How we use your data
- To operate and deliver the Perciva service.
- To send transactional emails (confirmations, scan alerts, snapshot reports) via Resend.
- To improve reliability and fix issues through server-side logs and error tracking.
We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.
Third-party services
- Supabase — authentication and data storage.
- Stripe — payment processing.
- Resend — transactional email delivery.
- OpenAI & Google — AI engines queried during scans (we send only your project inputs, not your account details).
Cookies & tracking
We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
Data retention & deletion
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account or request data deletion, we will remove your personal data within 30 days. To request deletion, email us at the address below.
Security
We use industry-standard encryption in transit (TLS) and rely on Supabase and Google Cloud infrastructure for data storage. While we take reasonable precautions, no system is perfectly secure.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the product evolves. Material changes will be communicated via email or an in-app notice.
